m=6, n=4


pls check
2^m-2^n=48

there is one possible set of m and n where
m=6, n=4
2^6-2^4 = 64-16 = 48

TWO sets have m and n elements
power set of 1st set=2^m
power set of 2nd set =2^n
given that 1st have 48 more than power set b
i.e,
2^m+48=2^n
by sub m=6 nd n=4 both r equal so
m=6 n=4

Let A and B be the sets with 'm' and 'n' elements respectively.
Then, the number of elements in their power set are 2^m and 2^n respectively.
It is given that, 2^m=2^n+48
2^m-2^n=48
The above equation contains two unknowns and it can have any number of solutions. so, see the options given and try to put those values in the above equation and the pair which will satisfies the above equation is the answer.
