First fill 3L vessel. Now empty 3L vessel in 5L vessel. So now Vessel 8L has 5L, vessel 5L has 3L and vessel 3L is empty. Again fill 3L vessel from 8l vessel. and pour its contents to 5l vessel. Now 5l vessel will be full and 3l vessel has 1l left and 8l vessel has 2l. Now empty 5l vessel back in 8l and 1l of 3l vessel into 5l. Now Fill 3l vessel using 8l vessel. Now empty it again in 5l one. So, 5l vessel now has 1+3=4l and 8l has 4l. SOLVED :)
