Here the Distance is constant. So, let the actual time is x.
Then,
600/x-600/(x+(1/2))=200
After we solve this we will get 1hr.
So, the actual time taken for the journey is 1hr.

Let the actual speed be x kmph. As the time taken increases by 30minutes as speed is decreased by 200kmph, so...

600/(x-200) - 600/x = 30/60

we get x= 600kmph
so, actual speed= 600kmph
therefore, actual time taken= 600/600= 1 hour

Ans=2hr 30 min.
actual speed is 240kmph
600/(x+200) =600/200+30/60
x=40

The actual time is 2hr and30 min because if it travels with a speed of 200kmph it reach 30min late by that we came to know if it travels 240kmph then it will reach 30min before that time of speed 200kmph

Let the duration of the vechicle be x hours.

Then, 600/x - 600/ [x + (1/2)] = 200

600/x -1200/(2x + 1) = 200

x(2x + 1) = 3

2x^2 + x - 3 = 0

(2x + 3)(x - 1) = 0

x = 1 hr. [neglecting the -ve value of x]
ans is 1hr

x 2x + 1

let the original speed =s,original time =t i.e s=d/t that means => s=600/t.................(1)
=> (s-200)=600/(1/2)............(2) as time 30 min in hrs
by solving these two eqtns we get original time t=1 hrs.
