let total votes =1000
205 people have not polledso remaining is =800
120 votes are not valid (800-120)=680
votes taken by B Is y
than y+200=(680*40/100)=>
y=72
total votes secured by B is 7.2%

let there be 1000 votes 80% people are voted so there is 800 votes in which 120 are unvalid therefore 800-120=680. so total 680 votes are legal.
let A got x votes
B got y votes
Given x+200=y
and x+y=680
so by solving we got x=440,y=240
so 240 is 35.29% of 680.
so b secure 35.29% of total votes

40% IS GIVEN WHIh is 200..
so total no of votes are 100/40*200=500
now 20% of 500 is 100 so remaining is 400..
