100 ----20% reduction-----> 80-------30% reduction-------> 56
so 100------y% reduction-----> 56
y= 44 % ans (equivalent reduction)

let total garments=100%
according to qstn.....20% garments reduced then... initial reduced=20%
now remaining=80%
again from qstn...additional 30% reduced so...80*30/100=24%(final reduced)
so total reduced =(20+24)%=44

100-20=80
80/100=0.8*30=24

single Reduction =56%
