let the speed of goods train be x
dist covered by goods train in 10hrs (4+6)= dist covered by other train 4 hrs
10x=4*90
x=36kmph

Faster train covers total dis.. in 4 hour
Total dis=90*4=360
Goods train takes 10 hours
So speed of goods train =360/10=36 ans

distance covered in 10 hrs =distance in 4 hrs
therefore 10x=S*T
=10x=90*4=360
X=36 km/hrs

Let speed of the goods train be y km/h. Distance travelled by goods train in 6 hours = 6 * y. that is 6y.
now relative speed of the new train = 90-y.
6y distance is travelled by new train at 90-y speed in 4 hours
6y/90-y=4
y=36km/h

let the speed of goods train be x
distance travel in 6 hr with x speed=6x
4=((6x/(90-x))
so x=36km/h

Good trains travels for 6 hrs
After 6 hrs express train leaves same station and reaches to good train in 4 hrs.
so total time covered by good train is 10 hrs
Distance covered by express train in 4 hrs is 90 * 4 = 360 km
And Good train also covered same distance in 10 hrs
so, s=360/10
s=36 kmph
