Let a, b and c be A's, B's and C's money respectively.
Then their total amount = a + b + c
Given that, 1/3 rd of a = 1/4th of b = 1/7th of c.
i.e., a/3 = b/4 = c/7
Let a/3 = b/4 = c/7 = k
Then a = 3k, b = 4k and c = 7k

Now, we have to find (a + b + c)/c
(a + b + c)/c = 3k + 4k + 7k / 7k
14k / 7k = 2
i.e., (a + b + c)/c = 2
(a + b + c)/2 = c
i.e., 1/2 times of (a+b+c) is equal to c.
Hence the answer is 1/2.

let x ,y,z be a, b. and c's money. then it is given... (x/3)=(y/4)=(z/7) then....(x/z)=(3/7) and (y/z)=(4/7) so (x+y+z)/z=1+(x/z)+(y/z)=1+(3/7)+(4/7)=14/7=2 so z/(x+y+z)=1/2 ans
