Let AGE of two friends = A:B = 6:5
SUM of ages = 6x+5x = 66
11x = 66 ----> x=6
ages of friends = 6x = 36
5x = 30

let Y be no.of years after which their age ratio is 7:6
(36+Y) : (30+Y) = 7:6
By solving we get Y =6

Hence no.of years = 6 aftr which their age ratio is 7:6

6:5, 6x+5x=66
So x=6
36+n/30+n == 6/5
thus n==6

Ans :- 6 years


Age of two friends are in the ratio 6:5
And their sum is 66
So 6x+5x=66
11x=66
X=6

Now suppose after y years their ration of ages become 7:6

On solving we get
(6x+y)/(5x+y) =7/6
Substituting x=6

We get value of y as 6 years .

a+b=66, a=6 , b=5 , and b=6b/5
then a=36, b=30
Add 6 to a and b, then the ratio will be 7:6 .
After 6 years their ages will be 7:6

x/y=6/5 => x=6y/5
x+y=66 => 6y/5+y=66 =>6y+5y=66*5 ==> y=30 so x=36
After 6 years x=42 and y=36 so x/y=42/36 = 7/6
So answer is 6 years.

Solution: 6x+5x=66, so x=6, put first ratio after substitution is (6*6)/(5*6) and second ratio is 36/30 and 42/36 So difference in numerators 42-36=6 years
Ans will be 6 years

by given data thier ages can be( 6/11)*66=36 and the other one is 30
so after x years their ages ill be in ratio 7:6
therefore (36+x)/(30+x)=7:6
by solving it x=6 years
