Sunil=11 & Father=35 years

S+F=46 ---(i) & 4*(S-3)=F-3 or 4S-F=9 ---(ii)
On solving (i) & (ii), S=11, F=35

let sunil's present age=x
then father's present age=46-x
before three years hather's age is equal to the four times of the sunil's age
so,
43-x=4(x-3);
x=11
sunil's present age=11;
father's present age=46-11=35

Sunil's age + Father's age = 46 --------(i)

before three years

Father's age - 3 = 4(Sunil's age -3)
from eq(i)

46 - Sunil's age - 3 = 4(Sunil's age) - 12
5(Sunil's age) = 55
Sunil's age = 11 ANS

So from eq.(i)

Father's age = 46-11
= 35 ANS.

4(x-3)=y-3
by solving both equations we find
x=11,y=35
