Number is 18

If number with two digits x & y is 10x+y, then 9(10x+y)=2(10y+x) or y=8x
As sum of the digits of a number=9, so for x=1, y=8
So the number=10*1+8=18

Number = 18

Let digits be x & y
Hence number is 10x + y
given 9*(10x + y)=2*(10y+x)
And x + y=9
On solving we get x=1 & y=8
Hence number is=18

answer 13 only bcz if u r consider both square and rectangle means answer will be 18
but here only rectangle only asked so answer is 13

two equations are :-
1:- 9(10x +y) =2(10y + x)
2:- x+y=9
onsolving we get =18;

the ans. is 18

assume that the given number is xy
given that x+y=9.........(1)
9(10x+y)=2(10y+x)
by solving this we get y=8x substitute this value in (1) then we get x=1 and y=8
so,the answer is 18

let the number be = x
Let other number be = y.
Reverse of first = 10x+y.-----1.
Reverse of second = 10y + x.-------2.
Sum of that numbers is = 9= x+y = 9.—3.
Now, equate 1 and 2, as per condition given:
9(10x+y) = 2(10y + x)
90x +9 y = 20y + 2x.
90x -2x = 20y – 9y
88x = 11y.
Y= 8x.-----4
Substitute equation 4 in equation 3.
X + 8x = 9
9x = 9.
X = 1.
Y = 8* 1 = 8.
Now, sum of both x and y = 1+ 8 = 9.
