How passenger train can overtake goods train, if it is running ahead of goods train.
I think there should be an interchange in 'passenger train' and 'goods train' in the question.
Considering speed of goods train=80 kmph, distance covered in 6 hrs=80*6=480 km.
If passenger train has a speed=x kmph, then relative speed=x-80
So to cover-up a difference of 480 kms in 4 hrs, 480/(x-80) =4, x=200

total pasenger train time= 6+4=10 so
total distance 80*10=800
so goods train speed is 800/4=200 KM/Hr

Let the speed of goods train = x kmph.
Time difference between the trains = (6+4)=10hrs.
So, distance (D) covered by goods train in 10 hrs = Distance covered by passenger train in 4 hrs.
Distance = Speed * Time

10x = 4*80
10x = 320
x= 32kmph.. Speed of the goods train.

ans is200. 6+4=10. 10*80=800, 800/4=200

S2=(80×4)÷10=32
