Hi guys, i have a doubt regarding the selection procedure. I have cleared my apti of 2nd march and have been called for interview on 17th March. I went through the technical+mr interview and after sometime an announcement was made for a list of people that their interview is over and they may leave, and i was one of them. Thus i did not face any HR round (2nd round after TR+MR) i.e I faced only 1 round of TR+MR which was fairly good. So is there any chance that I will/may get selected?
Please clear this doubt of mine if any1 has idea about this.

I have given TCS interview during on campus drive on 8th sept 2016. Same thing happened to me, I faced only 1 round of TR+HR, they didn't call me for HR round and when result came my name was not announced. I was rejected!

A few people got rejected even after giving HR round. But none of those who were told to leave after 1st round got selected.

After that I have faced almost 10 interviews with different companies and one thing I can tell you from my experience that if you are not done with HR round then most probably you are rejected.

In HR round they will definitely ask you about relocation, night shift etc.

Don't worry ... i have given all 3 round interview but in there Hr announced in starting that some people having 1 round or some having 2 rounds and dont worried about that u will be rejected .if HR have done all things in 2 round then no need of 3rd round may be thats why ur 3rd round is not conducted.....

@Komal 1st of all in our case, no one announced such thing that even if u r facing 1 or 2 rounds dosn't mean that u r rejected, and 2ndly in my 1st round of TR+MR (only) i was hardly asked 2 qstns related to HR like Introduce yourself and Why TCS, but nothing related to relocation or night shifts or anything else which HR asks, is it still possible or any chance is there that I may keep some hope of getting selected?
Do let me know even if any1 else knows about this or such kind of thing..

@venkateswarulu When we were having our interview, we came to know that we have to face two rounds of interview, 1st is TR+MR n 2nd is HR. Now i don't know that whether sometimes or for few people only 1 round of TR+MR is enough to get them shortlisted or it is so that those who have faced only 1 round will surely get rejected at that moment only.
And in your case it myt be so that they have kept only 1 round of interview which in our case was 2.

In both the interviews they asked me technical qs. and introduce urself,why tcs,why should I hire u,these types of q.I don't know what's they are actually trying to do.No idea.They didn't call us for HR.May be we're rejected.
