Question would be::
A man engaged a servant on a condition that he will pay Rs 90 and olso give him a bag at the end of the year . He worked for 9 months and was paid Rs 55 and a turban. So the price of the turban is?

Sol: 12*x=90+y
9*x=45+y
Solving the equation will get u y= 10 which the price of turban

payment of 1 month=40/12
payment of 9 month=30
total 55
price of turban =55-30=15 ans

if it would 90 instead of 40 and 65 instead of 55 the answer would be like this..
for 12 months rs.90+bag
for 9 months rs.65+turban then
for 12 months its 90 means for 9 mnths i.e, 3/4 it would be 3/4 of 90 = 75
but he paid 65 only hence 75-65=10
so 10 may be the prie of turban.. ( here considering turban and bag areequal)

If monthly salary is x, then
12x = 90+ T
9x = 65+T

them 3x= 25
12 x= 100= 90+T
T= Rs 10 ...
