Find the value of x:

x + 5 = 0

x = -5


Find the remainder:

Sub x = -5 to find the remainder:

x³ + 4x² + 6x - 2

= (-5)³ + 4(-5)² + 6(-5) - 2

= -125 + 4(25) + (-30) - 2

= -125 + 100 - 30 - 2

= -57
