(100-90)%of 20=(100-20)%of x
=>10/100 *20=80/100 *x
=>x= 2*10/8=5/2=2.5

Fresh grapes contains 10% pulp

So, 20 kg fresh grapes contains 2 kg pulp.

Dry grapes contain 80% pulp as it contain 20% water

2 kg pulp would contain 2/0.8 = 20/8 = 2.5 kg dry grapes.

From the question we know: 20kg * 90% = 18kg of water in the fresh grapes

20kg - 18kg of water = 2kg of non-water mass

We are looking for the weight of the dry grapes (X).

Since the question tells us that 20% of the weight of the dry graps is water and we know that 2kg is non-water mass we can set up the following equation:

X = 1/5(X) + 2kg
4/5(X) = 2kg
X = 5/2 or 2.5 kg

so 20-18= 2kg for dry grapes

in one kg grape 100g dried grape is there,so int 20 kg 2000g dried grape i.e 2kg dried grape ,now 1 kg dried grape contain 200g of water so in 2kg it contain 400g of water .
so available wt of dry grape is 2.0-0.4=1.6kg

let x be the total amount he has sold and makes a profit of 25% I.e 500/-
so (x*25)/100 =500
by simplifying x=2000/-
in 2000 he can sell each peice at a cost of 375 so number of peice are 2000/375 I.e 5.333

ANSWER:; 2.5
SOL:-(100-90)%of 20=(100-20)%of x
=>(1-0.9)*20=(1-0.2)*X
0.1*20=0.8*X
X=2.5 KG
