From 1 to 300 natural numbers 300 would have been the 300th natural number.
Now we removed squares between 1 to 300 which will be 1, 4, 9, 16 till 289 so total 17 numbers.
We then removed cubes from 1 to 300 1, 8, 27, 125, 216 5 cubes of which 1 and 64 are common. So in total, there are 21 numbers removed. So the 300th term would become 321 as there are no cubes or squares between 300 and 321.

1 to 300 = 300 numbers
squares btwn 1 to 300 = 1,4,9,16,25,36,49.....289 i.e, total 17
cubes = 1,8,27,64,125,216 i.e, 5
now 1 and 64 are common so total numbers that should be removed ( 17+5-2= 20 )
total 20 term removed so 300th term would be 320

Squares 1 4 9 25 36 49 64 81 100 121 144 169 196 225 256 289 total 16 cubes 1 8. 27 64 125 216 total 6 overall 16+6 but 1 and 64 common counted 2 times each so 16+6-2 =20 so 300+ 20 = 320
