Ratio of abc will be 24 :40:25,

Amt of b in 35 litr of mixture of a,b,c = 40*35/89 =15.73 ltrs

a:b = 3:5,
b:c = 8:5,
Then a:b:c = 8*3 : 8*5 : 5*5 = 24:40:25,
so, amount of b = 35 * 40/(24+40+25) = 35*40/89=15.73

b:c=8:5=8*5:5*5=40:25
therefore a:b:c=24:40:25
now amount of b is=35*40/(24+40+25)=15.73

a:b= 3:5 and b:c=8:5
hence, a:b:c can be.... found by taking lcm of common factor "b"
i.e. (5,8)=40
hence, a:b:c= 3*8:40:5*5
therefore... b= (40*35)/89
= 15.73

make the ratio of b in both a:b and b:c as 40(lcm of 8 & 5).
then new ratio will be 24:40(a:b) and 40:25(b:c).
Thus a:b:c is 24:40:25
thus 35*(40/89)=15.73

The new compound ratio will be 24:40:25 (to get 3:5:5*5/8)
Then b's part = 40/(24+40+25)*35 =15.73

a/b=3/5 & b/c=8/5
a=3b/5 , c=5b/8
a+b+c= (3b/5)+b+(5b/8)= 35
b=15.73 lt

a/b=3/5=24/40 & b/c=8/5=40/25
so, a:b:c=24:40:25
24x+40x+25x=35
or, x=35/89
so the amount of b is 40*(35/89)=15.73
