let initial price of jewel be 100

first hand => 100 + 20 = 120
second hand => 120 + (120*25/100) = 120 + 30 = 150

After % of profit to third seller be x%
=> selling price = 150 + (150x/100) = 150 + 1.5x

total increase in amount = 65% = 165
=> 150 + 1.5x = 165
=> x = 10%

If % profit earned by third seller is x, then

1.2*1.25*(1+x/100)=1.65
(1+x/100) = 1.65/1.5 = 1.1
x/100=0.1
x= 10%

(1+(20/100))×(1+(25/100))×(1+(x/100))=(1+(65/100))

(120/100)×(125/100)×((100+x)/100)=(165/100)
(3/2)(100+x)=165

100+x=110
X=10
