and total boys be 2 ...
so total girls going to canteen = 1
boys going to canteen = 1
total no. of classmates = 5(only suppose......to find out the factor of students going to canteen...)
factor of classmates going to canteen=2/5.

1/3 of girls, let the number of girls is x.
1/2 of boys, let the number of boys is y.

factor of classmates that go to canteen:( (x/3) + (y/2) ) / (x+y)
total number of classmates that go to canteen:(x/3) + (y/2)

So, this can't be simplified further and can't be determined any option as answer
