4 beans should pick over to get 2 of same color
v sud assume 1 alternative comes at a time 3 or different colors then 4th one vl be the one of earlier colors

minimum 4 because in three picks they may be of different colour like red ,blue and green but 4th pick will match with at least one of its own colour

number of jelly beans of each color is not mentioned thus let us assume there are x red beans y blue beans and z green beans
let the minimum of x y and z be min
if we grab min+1 beans then we can have 2 of the same color even if all others are different

Answer is 4.
First 3 might be different, but fourth one will be the second bean of any one of the color for sure.

there are three different colors
so when we select 4 beans
minimum of two like color beans can be grabbed

by picking 4 we will have definitely of the same kind either of the four.

if red>>blue>>green than we have to grab at least no of blue + green so that only one color left and the next 2 jelly would be the same color..

pls provide corect answer if this is not

count the number of beans in each color first. say RED=25, BLUE = 35, GREEN = 45.

IF YOU WANT RED :
Now if you pick 45, worst situation is all 45 are GREEN;
then pick 35 the worst situation is all 35 are BLUE ;
next pick 2 and you will surely have 2 RED!

IF YOU WANT BLUE :
Pick 45 : worst - all GREEN
Pick 25 : worst - all RED
Pick 2 more : sure BLUE

Same way for GREEN too (Pick 25 and 35 and then 2 more!)
