he has 7 pennies.
so
he may buy 3 melon of 3 penny
6 orange of 3 penny
3 grapes of 1 penny
so total penny =7 and he can give each children 1 melon,2 orange,1grape ans

he has 7 pennies
so
he can buy 3 melons for three rupees
he has left with=7-3=4 pennies
now he can buy 6 oranges with 3 pennies
he has left=4-3=1 pennies
and now he can buy 3 grapes for 1 penny
so he can give 1 melon,2 orange and 1 grape to each children...

Options are missing
a)2 melons, 1 orange, 1 grape
b) 2 melons, 2 orange, 1 grape
c) 1 melons, 2 orange, 1 grape.

melon cost=1 penny
orange cost=1/2 penny
grape cost=1/3 penny
so
3*(2*1+1*1/2+1*1/3)=17/2 pennies
3*(2*1+2*1/2+1*1/3)=10 pennies
3*(1*1+2*1/2+1*1/3)=7 pennies
Answer= option C
