I have to get 80%...
Total points=300+100=400
so, 80% of 400 is 320

I've already got 237..
So I've to get (320-237)=83

1) If i am giving all the tests and 237 is the total score of all the subjects and science is a one subject.
As the condition is only related with science subject so nothing is left concerning with the total numbers or percentage. i have to get 80 marks if the final test is of science is left only.

2) If the 237 score is of science only so far.
Then I have to get 83 marks. as total points is 300+100=400 and 80% of 400 is 320 (which i have to get).
i got = 237
i need= 320-237= 83 to get 80%.

80% of 400 is 320 i.e the that should be scored are 320-237= 83

so
320-237=83
is the minimum score needed in final test.

(273+x)/400=.8,i.e x=83,now as rounding of is considered so if x=81 he gets 79.5~80%.
