Ans. 15 days
20 men can do the work in 30 days..
Therefore 20 men in x days can do x/30 part of the work..
lly 15 men in 35-x days can do (35-x)/40 portion of the work..
x/30 + (35-x)/40 = 1
x = 15

ans is 15 days.........
20 men can do a piece of work in 1 day is 1/30...
1 men can do 1/600 in 1 day....
after x days 5 men leaves the work then 15 men can do 1/40 of the work in 1 day....
in x days 20 men can do x/30 of the total work.....
then the remaining work is 1-x/30=(30-x)/30....
15 men can do 1/40 of the work in 1 day then (30-x)/30 th work can do in (35-x) days ....
by solving these 2 equations we get x=15 days .....
after 15 days 5 men can leave the work

ans- let in 'x' days 5 men will leave.
20 men do one work in 30 days.
20 men will do 1/30 work in 1 day.
20 men will do x/30 work in x days.
1 man will do 1/600 work in 1 day.
1 man will do one work in 600 days.
15 men will do one work in 600/15=40 days.
15 men in 35-x days will do (35-x)/40 work.
s0, x/30 + (35-x)/40 =1
=> x=15 days
answer is 15 days.

20 men 1 day work work 20M=1/30 so M=1/600
give when 5 men leaves the work will be completed in 35 days
so 20 men do the work in for 'x' days let
then 15 men do the work in '35-x' days
so (x)20M+(35-x)15M=1(equate to 1 since the work is completed)
x/30+(35-x)*15/600=1
x/30+(35-x)/40=1
by solving x=15 days is the ans

Answer is 15 days.
since 20*30=600.
(15(days)*20(men))+(20(days)*15(men))=600.
first 15 days 20 men will work and rest of 20 days 15 men will work.
therefore after 15 days 5 men can leave to complete work in 35 days.

20 * 30 = 20 * x + 15 * (35 - x)
600 = 5x + 525
x = 15 is Answer
Right hand side
20 men can do x days works.
then 5 men leave
remaining 15 men can do work remaining (35 - x) days which is 15 * (35 - x)

20 men can do the work in 30 days..
Therefore 20 men in x days can do x/30 part of the work..
lly 15 men in 35-x days can do (35-x)/60 portion of the work..
x/30 + (35-x)/60 = 1
x = 25

(20*n) + 15 * (35-n) = 600
n=15
So 15 days after 5 men leaves
