total deligates=24
each one should make ahand shake with remaining..i.e.,first one should make 23..secomd one should make 22..like wise..24,23,22,21,.......upto 1
sum of n natural numbers is n(n+1)/2=23(23+1)/2=276
deligates should not make a handshake with the person from same country..for this..no of possible ways making a handshake os..11,10,9,8.....upto1
sum of natural numbers=11(11+1)/2=66
like wise with the another country=66
total=132
now substract from total handshakes=272-66-66=144
total 144 handshakes are possible..i think iam right..

1 can handshake with 12 and 2nd can also ..like this all 12 delegates handshake have 12 way each.
total handshake=12*12=144

It's so easy every person of one country will shake hand with 12 persons of the other country so total number's of hand shake possible will be 12*12 = 144.

since there are 12 delegates of each country and he shakes hand with all the 12 of other country..soo each deligate shakes hand 12 times.
similarly there are 12 deligates so there will be 12*12 shake hands which is 144

first person shake hand with 12 delegates. hence second person also shake hands with 12 delegates. thus 12*12 hand shakes is possible i.e 244
