For 60% out of total 150 marks, one should get total 90 marks.
so in third subject he got 90-20-30 = 40 marks
so none of these.

(20+30+x)/(50+60+40) *100=60
or (50+x)/150 *100=60
or 50+x=90
or x=40

total per. = 60
so
(40+50+x)/3=60

person got 20 out of 50 means 40%,second got 30 out of 60 means 50%,avg is 60% means (40+50+x)/3 which will b equal to 90% . 90% of 40 is 36

Calcutating in First subject% : 20/50*100= 40
Second: 30/60*100= 50
Overall percentage = 90 ( of two subject)
To get 60& it should be 180 in total
So, Third average = 36*100/40= 90
Total= 90+90=180
Average = 180/3 = 60%

Answer= 36

in first subject he got 20 out of 50 i.e. 40%
in second he got 30 out of 60 i.e. 50%
in 3rd he got x out of 40 i.e. 5x/2%
to calculate average 60% - 40 + 50 + 5x/2 = 180
so ans is 36

in first subject=20*100/50=40%
in second sub.=30*100/60=50%
avg is 60 %
40+50+y=3*60
y=90%

90% of 40=36 ans

Percentage is 60..
(x/150)*100=60
by solving x=90 these are total marks obtained by a person in three subjects..
20+30+x=90; x=40 marks...

to calculate % we convert every base in 100
thus 20/50 so 40/100
now 30/60 ..here we try to make base 100 , so to make 60 as 100 we have to multiply it by (5/3) ,and we to multiple this in numerator too
so 30/60 become 50/100

similarly to make x/40 base 100 multiply (5/2) in num and den which make
x/40 as (5x/2)/100

now to calculate % it will be (90+(5x/2))/3=60
thus x=36;

According to the question we can form an equation as, ((50+x)/150)*100 = 60
from this, x = ((60*150)/100)-50 which gives solution as 40.

(20+30+40)/150=90/150==3/5,,,,,,,and the percentage is (3/5)*100=60
so the x value is 40

he obtained 60% overall marks of three subject
60% of total marks is 150*60%=90
he obtained 20+30+X=90
=>X=40.
so value of X is 40
