4+2=6,3rd term is 6^2,
4-2=2 4th term is 2^2
Similarly
6+3=9,3rd term is 9^2 = 81
6-3=3,4th term is 3^2 = 9

2. 7,6...5,4.....6,5.....9,__
7 - 6 = 1
5 - 4 = 1
similarly
9 - x = 1
x = 8

3. 3,12,29,__
3 * 2 + 6 = 12
12 * 2 + 5 = 29
similarly
29 * 2 + 4 = 62

so series is 3,12,29,54

4+2=6,third term is 6^2,4-2=2 fourth term is 2^2
as follows ans is 9

3,8,12,48,29 take alternate terms..
(1^2+2),((1+2)^2+3),((3+2)^2+4) similarly the next term would be ((5+2)^2+5)=54
(3^2-1),((3+4)^2-1) similarly next term would be ((7+4)^2-1)=120
so the series is 3,8,12,48,29,120,54

(1^3)+2=3
(2^3)+4=12
(3^3)+2=29
so ans is (4^3)+4=68

depending on the choice choose the ans ........
(both 54 and 68 suits well)

(4+2=6 6*6=36)
(5+1=6 6*6=36)
(6+3=9 9*9=81)
then left term 4 is 4*4=16
in the last term 16*16=256
so ans is 256

so we can split it in two parts (7,6,5,4),(6,5,9,?)
now 6+5-7=4
same way 9+5-6=8
so the ans is 8

i think 3rd question is little bit confusing because it has number of solutions
3,12,29,?
3*3^1 = 9+3 = 12
3*3^2 = 27+2 = 29
3*3^3 = 81+1 =82.............this is also satisfying

compare with the set of numbers in the question with below pattern
x, y, (x+y)^2 , (x-y)^2

So, the first set of numbers we get are
4, 2, (4+2)^2 = 36, (4-2)^2 = 4 .... do the same with rest of the numbers and you will get
1) 4, 2, 36, 4
2) 5, 1, 36, 16
3) 6, 3, 81, ( 9 ) Answer
