9, 15, (8 +2/3), (14 +1/2), (8+ 1/3), 14, 8, (13+ 1/2),x,y
two series with alternate terms

9,(8 +2/3),(8+ 1/3), 8,x [next = previous - 1/3]
=> x=(8 -1/3)= 23/3 = (7 +2/3)

15,(14 +1/2), 14,(13+ 1/2),y [next = previous - 1/2]
=> y= 13+ 1/2 -1/2 =13

x =(7+ 2/3), y = 13

9 15 26/3 29/3 ..... multiply each with 3 so new series is 27 45 26 29 25 42 24 27 .....its +18 -19 again +3 -4 and so on ... in last its +3 so it should be -4 ....i.e 27-4=23 now divide by 3 to get original series ... 23/3= 7*2/3

the next number will be 7*2/3
as the terms as getting reduced by 1/2 and 1/3 respectively and repeatedly
as a result 8-1/3 = 7*2/3 i.e. 7 whole and 2/3 as fraction.

we can write this as
27/3, 30/2, 26/3, 29/2, 25/3, 28/2, 24/3, 27/2

in dr, it looks like as 3,2,3,2 so next no in dr is 3
in nr, alternate series decreases by 1 so next no is 23/3,26/2
