x=y=z=even then x-y-z =even
since y and z are even w must be odd to make the result odd

obivious if x is even then to make x-y-z even y,z are even and in 2nd eqtn if y z are even then w must be odd to meke the solution odd

given, x-y-z=even ..... (1) ,x is even,y-z-w=odd........ (2).
from 1, even-y-z=even,even-(y+z)=even,so it's clear that y+z=even,
possible condition will be y,z=even or y,z=odd
now from 2, it is clear that w never be even ,
i.e. 2 satisfies the condition even-even-odd=odd,
therefore even=x,y,z and w=odd

if x is even then y&z must be even or odd
if y&z are even then w must be odd
if y&z are odd then also w must be odd

so w must be odd
