p=1/15 q=1/20
(p+q) 1 days work=1/15 + 1/20=7/60
(p+q) 4 days work=(7/60*4)=7/15
remaning work=(1-7/15)=8/15

Let the total work be LCM of 15,20 i.e. 60 units
P's one day work=4 units
Q's one day work=3 units
They worked for 4 days
P completed 16 units, Q did 12 units
Remaining work=60-28=32 units.
Fraction of remaining work=32/60=8/15
Therefore A) is correct.

p+q 1 day work=4/15+4/20
=4/15+1/5
let total work be 1
so 4/15+1/5=7/15
and 1-7/15=8/15

p=1/15 q=1/20
(P+Q) 1 day work= (1/15+1/20)=7/60
in 4 days=4*(7/60)=7/15
work left=1-(7/15)=8/15

Q can complete in 20 days
Q 1day work is 1/20
P&Q are working together for 4 days
[1/15 + 1/20]*4=7/15
Work completed is 7/15
Left work is 8/15
Ans is 8/15

p+q=1/15+1/20=7/60 one day work
p+q for 4 days work=(7/60*4)=7/15
remaining work=(1-7/15)=8/15

p and Q together completed the work in 60/7 but in 1 day they completed the work in 7/60 and in 4 days
it will be 7/15 and remaining=1-7/15=8/15

1 day work of p=4
1 day work of q=3
total work of p and q in 1 day is=7
4 days they working together so it is 7*4=28
60-28=32
fraction of work left=32/60=8/15
