speed of thief = 10*5/18
time = 6*60
distance of thief = (10*5/18)*(6*60) + 200 = 1200m

speed of policeman = 11*5/18
time = 6*60
distance of policeman = (11*5/18)*(6*60) = 1100m

distance between both = 1200-1100 = 100m

relative speed of thief and policeman=(11-10)=1km/hr
Distance covered in 6 minutes = 6/60=1/10=100 m
So distance between them after 6 minutes = 200 - 100
= 100 m

speed of thief = 10 km per hr.
so, relative speed of police = 1 km per hr.
so,
In 1 hr= 1 km
60 min= 1000m
1 min = 1000/60 m
6 min = (100/6)*1m = 100m

speed of thief=(10*1000)/60=500/3meter/min
speed of police=(11*1000)/60=550/3meter/sec
distance covered by police in 6minutes=(550*6)/3=1100meters
distance covered by thief in 6 minutes=(500*6police covered 200 meters distance also.so after 200meters ,distance is=1100-200=900meters
difference between them in 6 minutes is=1000-900=100meters

for police dist in 6 minutes = 1100 meters at speed=11000 m/ 60 min.
for thief dist in 6 minutes = 1000 meters at speed = 10000 m / 60 min.
subtracting 1100-1000 = 100 meters

the speed of the system is 1 km/hr
the speed in m/sec will be 5/18 m/sec
in 360 meter the distance covered is 5*360/18=100m
therefore distance between them is 200-100 m=100 m

the answer is 100 meter

Firstly, the distance between a thief and policeman=200 m.
Relative speed between the thief and the policeman=(11-10)=1 km/hr.
We shall now convert km/hr to m/min.
So, 1 km/hr=1000/60 m/min=50/3 m/min.
10 km/hr=10*1000/60=500/3 m/min.
11 km/hr=11*1000/60=550/3 m/min.

Now, time taken by the policeman to catch=200/(50/3)=200*3/50=12 min.
Now, distance run by the thief=(500/3)*12=2000m
And, distance run by the policeman=(550/3) * 12=2200m
Difference of their distance in 12 minutes=2200-2000=200 m
Therefore, the distance between them after 6 minutes =(1/2)* 200=100 m.
Thus, the correct answer is b)100 meter.
