ans: a)1:5
After operation 1: alcohol:5L and water:10L so it's 1:2
water in 10L solution=10*2/3=20/3
So In operation 2: 10L is added to vessel that's give 20/3+10=50/3
total solution after operation2 is = 20L ie... water=50/3 and alcohol=10/3.
so ratio of alcohol to water is 10/3:50/3 == 1:5

a is the answer,after 1st operation 5 litre alcohol and 10 litre water,15 litre contains 5 litre alcohol 5 lt contains 5/3 alcohol,so left alcohol is 3.34 and 5 litre solution contains 3.34lt water so total water after 2 operation is 16.66 ,so the ratio is approx 3.34/16.66....

Okay Answer is 15firstly 10 liter of alcohol is present In First Operation we removed 5 liter of Alcohol that means right now 5 liter alcohol is leftand then we add 10 liter water note this water will not affect ratio of alcoholso now at present 5 liter alcohol and 10 liter water is present so after First Operation ratio is 12Now in Second Operation we removed 5 liter from solution amount of Alcohol that is removed is 13513 came by taking ratio 12so left alcohol is 5-53103same way amount of water removed is 235left amount is- 10-103203Now we add 10 liter of water again this have no effect on ratio of water so20310-503now ratio alcohol water 103 503 15answer
