Roja ll do 16/3 parcels in 1 hr [ 1/6*32]
Edward ll do 8 parcels in 1 hr [1/5*40]

Roja nd edward's 1 hr work is

16/3+8= 40/3

Therfore they ll do 330 parcel in

330/40 * 3= 99/4 = 24 3/4hrs ===> 24hrs 45mins

Speed of Roja per hour = 32/6 parcels
Speed of Edward per hour = 40/5 = 8 parcels
When both of them work together in one hour they will pack
32/6 + 8 = 13 1/3 parcels
For packing 330 parcels it will take = 330 / parcels that can be packed by them in one hour = 330 / 13 1/3 = 25 hours 15 minutes

roja's 1 hr work=32/6
edwrd's 1 hr work=40/5=8
roja and edwrd's 1hr wrk=(32/6)+8= 40/3
then,in 1 hr work done by them is =40/3
3/40hr to cmplt work=1 parcel
3/40 * 330 = 330 parcels
99/4 hrs = to pack 330 parcels
24 hrs 75 mins.
so,correct answr is option d.

for 6hours,32 parcels means for 1 hour,it is 32/6=16/3.
similiarly,for 5 hours,40 parcels means ,for 1 hour,it is 40/5=8.
roja and edward together in 1 hour =16/3+8=40/3
hence for 1 hour they together made 40/3 parcels and for X hours 330 parcels.
hence X=330/(40/3)=24.75 hours=24+1hr 15min=25hours15mins

ans: d)none of these.
roja can pack 5.3 parcels in 1hr i.e,32/6=> 1hr-5.3parcels
edward=> 1hr- 8parcels. both working together can produce 8+5.3 parcels an hour. aprox. to 12 solving 330/12 it will get a total of 27.5 hrs

Roja's 1 hour work=[32/6] parcels
edward's 1 hour work=[40/5]=8 parcels

[32/6 + 8] parcels are packed in=1 hour together
1 parcel is packed in=[80/4] together
330 parcels are packed in=330/[80/4] together=======24hrs75minutes ans.

Efficiency of Roja=32/6=5.33%
Efficiency of Edward=40/5=8%
Working together=5.33%+8%=13.33%
Therefore,They will take together=330/13.33=24.75 Hour or 24 hours 45 Min

Edward-40/5=8 parcel/hr
Roja+Edward=(8+16/3)
=40/3
330 parcels working together=330 x 3/40
=99/4 hr
=24hr 45min

99/4 hours
= 24.75 hours
=24*(3/4) hours
=24 hours + (3/4)hour
= 24 hr +(3/4)*60 min
=24 hr +45 min
