i guess each differ in d range of 2

8 - 8 = 0
8 - 6 = 2
6 - 2 = 4
2 - x should be "6"
2 - x = 6
x = -4

8-8=0,8-6=2,6-2=4,so we easily find that the difference is 0,2,4.so next should be 6.
so,2-x=6;
x=2-6=-4, so the correct ans is -4

next term would be -4 as the difference between two consecutive no's have differene of 2 (8-8=0,6-8=-2,2-6=-4 so next term would be -4)
