25/100*(500)+20/100*(600)=125+120
=245 (scholarship holders)
non scholarship holders=1100-245
=845
so,
(100/1100)*(845)=77.77%
77.77% of students are not scholarship holders

Let total students be x

No. of boys = 5/11*x
No. of girls = 6/11*x

Total no. of scholarship holders = 25/100*5/11*x + 20/100*6/11*x
=5/44*x + 6/55*x

Total no of students = No. of scholarship holders + No. of students who are not scholarship holders

x = 5/44*x + 6/55*x + No. of students who are not scholarship holders

No. of students who are not scholarship holders = 171/220*x=0.777x

% of students who are not scholarship holders = 0.777x/x*100
=77.7%

B:G=5:6 i.e., 500:600
(25*500/100)+(20*600/100)=245
so non scholarship students are 1100-245=855 i.e.,77.72%

5/6 means 45% boys 55% girls
25% of 45 is 11%
20% of 55 is 11% so who r not scholarship holders = 100-11-11=78 % (approx)

Boys : girls ratio ==> 5 : 6
Total students = 5x + 6x = 11x
boys holding scholarship = 5x * 25/100 => 5x/4
girls holding scholarship = 6x * 20/100 = 6x/5

students not holding scholarship = 11x - [5x/4 + 6x/5]
=> 174x/20
% of student not getting scholarship = 174x*100/20*11x = 79%

Ans : 79%

so b non scholarship are=100-25=75
g non scholarship are= 100-20= 80
by formulA= b*75+g*80/b+g
=5*75+6*80/11=77.7
