A does 3/4 work ---> 24 days
A ll do whole(1) work ---> x days
x = 4/3 * 24 => x = 32 days

So A ll complete the entire work in 32 days
A does 3/4 work...
Remaining work left = 1-3/4 = 1/4
A+B does 1/4 work ---> in 4 days
A+B ll do whole(1) work ---> x days
x = 4*4 = 16 days

A's 1 day work = 1/32
A+B's 1 day work = 1/16
Then B's 1 day work = (A+B)'s 1 day work - A's 1 day work
=> 1/16 - 1/32
B's 1 day work => 1/32

So B ll complete the entire work alone in 32 days...

Ans : c) 32 days

A does 3/4 work in 24 days
whole work do (4/3)*24=32
so remaining 1/4 work he will do= 32-24=8
A+B both do the remaining work in 4 days
so both take only 50% time and B can also do th remaining work in 8 days
so B also do the whole work in 32 dys.

A 1 day work=(3/4)/(24) = 1/32
work left=1-(3/4)=1/4
let B 1 day work be x & both of them completed remaining work in 4 days
so, 4x+4*(1/32)=1/4
x=1/32 i.e B one day work = 1/32
Which is same as A
A can complete the remaining work in 8 days so B will also take the same to complete it.
hence total time B will take to complete the whole work is= 24+8=32

Suppose A completes A unit work/day and B completes B unit work/day.

When A alone works:: (A units/day) * 24 (days) = 3/4 Work

24*A= (3/4)W => 4A = (1/8)W

When A and B works together:: (A+B units/day) * 4 = 1/4 Work

4A + 4B = (1/4)W
(1/8)W + 4B = (1/4)W

Solving the above equation:: B = (1/32)W

Which means B alone can complete the work in 32 days.

3/4th of work is done in 24 days so 24*4/3=32
so remaining work 3/4-1=1/4
1/4 work is done by A and B is 4*4=16days
A's one day work is 1/32
(A+B) 's one day work=1/16
B's one day work=1/16-1/32
=1/32
ans:32days

A work per day=(3/4)/24
than A WORK for 4 days =4*(1/4*8)
=1/8
remaing work =1-3/4 (let totale work be the 1)
=1/4
B work for 4 days=1/4-1/8
=1/8
B can do work in singel day =(1/8)/4
=1/32
entire work is 1 B can do in 32 days
(1/32*days=1)

ans is 32 days.....

B's 1 day work compared to A is 1/32

A does 3/4 work in 24 days that means A can complete the work in 32 days ...

now remaining 1/4 work A can complete in 32-24= 8 days
because of B...A+B do it in 4 days ....

so they share the work equally that means B is as efficient as A ...........
so B can complete the work in 32 days .........

32 cause take 4parts inthis a does 3parts ---->24
4parts----->32
1parts----->8
but that 1 part a&b cmpltd 4days so both are cmplt same days i.e 32

a does 75% of work in 24 days
so in one day he will complete 3.1% work
remaining work 25 % which complete in 4 days by A and B means 6.25 % work in one day
b does 3.15% of work in one day
100%/3.15 = 31.75 approx 32 days.

A does 75% work in 24 days ie. he can do the whole work in 32 days
when B comes 25% work was remaining and they did it in 4 days so its simple they completed the 25% work in 4 days if they did individually they both will take 8 days each to complete that 25% work so B will take 32 days.

A complete total work in 4/3*24=32 days
1/4 work complete by A in 8 days
A+B=4
one day work is
1/8+B=1/4
B=1/8
so B complete total work in 8*4=32 days

A 's work ---> 3/4w in 24 days = > 1 w= 32 days, A's 1 day work =1/32,
(A+B)'s work---->1/4 w in 4 days = > 1 w=16 days,A+B 1 day work =1/16,
B 's one day work ----> (A+B)-A =>(1/16)-(1/32)=1/32----> B's work = 32 days
