let,
H,TOI,AND IE ALL ARE=x
so,only hindu=285-20-29-x
=236-x
only TOI=127-20-35-x
=72-x
only IE=212-35-29-x
=148-x
NOW;
236-x+72-x+148-x+20+29+35+x+50=500
590-2x=500
x=45
this value who read all the 3 daily
BUT que is find only one read;
So,
= 236-45+72-45+148-45
=191+27+103
=321
This is the final answer

TOI nd IE both is = 35H nd IE both is = 29now suppose H , TOI nd IE all is = x ;so,only Hindu is = 285-20-29-x = 236-x ;only TOI is = 127-20-35-x = 72-x ;only IE is = 212-35-29-x = 148-x ;now, 236-x + 72-x + 148-x + 20 + 29 + 35 + x + 50 = 500 590 -2x = 500 so, x = 45this is the value who read all the 3 dailies.so,result is = 236-45 + 72-45 + 148-45 = 191 + 27 + 103 = 321.

y=all 3 paper reader
500-50=x+y+29+20+35
x+y=366
Again 285+212+127=x+2(29+20+35)+3y
X+3y=456
Solve for x andy,x=321,y=45

using van diagram method,
Let, x no of people read all 3 papers,
500-50=285+212+127-(20+x)-(29+x)-(35+x)+x
=> x=45,

so , the no of people read only one paper is=
285-(20+29+45)+212-(29+35+45)+127-(20+35+45)=321 (Ans..)

500-134=365

The part of tank filled by Pipe A in 1 min = 1/20
The part of tank filled by Pipe B in 1 min = 1/30
The part of tank emptied by Pipe C in 1 min = 1/15
The part of tank filled in 1 min is 1/20 + 1/30 - 1/15 = 1/60

The total time taken to fill the tank is 60 min = 1 hr.
