ans is 25 m.
since the water felt on the last person of rajdhani it meant that from the time of throwing water the rajdhani covered its length.
and since the water is thrown towards rajdhani therefore there is no role of relative motion here because the direction of throwing water is perpendicular to the direction of motion.Thus the case is similar to a man standing and throwing water at rajdhani.
time taken by rajdhani to cover its length = 300/30=10 seconds
therefore distance between the tracks is = 2.5*10=25 m
the relative speed=30+45=75(both were running in the opposite directions)

here both trains are travelling in opposite directions.
so the relative speed of trains will be=30+45=75m/s
now satabadi driver plans to throw water on rajdhani driver
speed of water= trains speed+2.5m/s=77.5m/s
total distnce travel by water=300m+dis bw tracs
=(300+x/77.5=4)here stabdi take 4m to cross rajadhani by solx=10m

Total speed is 45+30 = 75 m/sec
Time = 750/75 = 10sec.

The distance between the tracks is 2.5*10 = 25m.

since the speed of water is 2.5 m/s
let the distance between the track id d
and the time taken by water to reach the rajdhani water is ts
d=2.5*t
t=d/2.5

the relative speed is 45+30=75 m/s
so the distance travled by shatdabdui when water reaches to man sitted on rajdhani should be 300 m

so 300=75*t

=>t=300/75
both t shohould be same
then
d/2.5=300/75
d=10 m

the watermelon travels only the distance of rajdhani..
hence relarive speed of watermelon = 75m/s
time taken to travel 300m(rajdhani's length) with this 75m/s=4sec
hence distance b/w the tracks = 10m

Time taken by satabadi engine to reach last boogie of rajdhani = Time taken by water to reach from satabdi to rajdhani(ie, distance between track)

Time taken by satabadi engine to reach last boogie of rajdhani= length of rajdhni train/relative speed of both train
= 300/(45+30) [opp.directioon->speed summed]
= 300/75

Therefore,Time taken by water to reach from satabdi to rajdhani= 300/75
Distance b/w track (or 2 trains)= speed of water x time taken by water to reach rajdhani (ie, speedxtime)
= (300x2.5)/75
= 10 m

d = 2.5 * 4 = 10m (approximate ans actual will be less than 10m )

The water falls on one of the person who was sitting in the last coach of rajdhani means that the time the water takes to cross the distance between tracks is equal to the time shatabdi and rajhdhani takes to cross each other



now the relative speed of two trains is (30+45)=75 m/s

i.e thet takes 4 sec to cross 300 m which is the length of rajhdhani.

now in 4 sec the water crosses =2.5 x 4 =10 meter

This must be the distance between the tracks

Relative distance is =450+300 = 750m
Relative speed is 45+30 = 75 m/sec
Time = 750/75 = 10sec.
so, the distance between the tracks is 2.5*10 = 25m.

train moves in opposite direction so there speed will add up
time=(length of rajdhani+Length of shatabdi) /(speed of rajdhani+speed of shatabdi)
distance between track=speed of water*Time

Distance between trains 450+300= 750 m
Because the speed in relative hence relative speed =45+30=75 m/s
now time taken to cross the train 750/75=10sec
while the shtbd driver threw water at start but felt to the last coach it means water was travelling for whole 10 second till the last coach here time taken by water to the last coach is 10 sec
hence distance traveled by water or distance between tracks are 10sec*2.5m/sec=25 meter

Hence option B is correct

correct ans will be 10
time taken by water to the person will be equal to satbdi driver allign with last coach of rajadhani
so he just have to travel rajdhani length not both because they are not crossing each other.
here time is constant
so
t=300/30+45, because they are in opposite direc
t=x/2.5,
x is distance between two tracks
300/75=x/2.5
x=4*2.5=10 meter

equate them
