Let CP of 2 phones be 3x nd 5x
Let SP of 2 phones be 5y nd 7y
(3x*h + 5x*s)*1.5 = (5y*h + 7y*s)
4.5xh + 7.5xs = 5yh + 7ys
7.5xs - 7ys = 5yh - 4.5xh
s(7.5x-7y) = h(5y-4.5x)
h/s = (7.5x-7y)/(5y-4.5x)
We cannot determine without knowing the value of x nd y...

So answer might be "Can't be determined"

total profit for h=5h-3h=2h and profit for s=7s-5s=2s;
so, total profit=2h+2s;
2h+2s/3h+5s*100=50;
so,h:s=1:1

Let CP of 2 phones be 3x nd 5x
Let SP of 2 phones be 5y nd 7y
(3x*h + 5x*s)*0.5 = (5y*h + 7y*s)
1.5xh + 2.5xs = 5yh + 7ys
1.5xh - 5yh = 7ys - 2.5xs
h(1.5x-5y) = s(7y-2.5x)
h/s = (7y-2.5x)/(1.5x-5y)
We cannot determine without knowing the value of x nd y...

So answer might be "Can't be determined"

let cp of 2 phn be 3x & 5x
let sp of 2 phn be 5y & 7y
sp=1.5cp...[Acordng to Ques]
so, (3x*h+5x*s)*1.5=(5y*h+7y*s)
=>4.5xh+7.5xs=5yh+7ys
=>h/s=1....

Question was CP:SP of H 3:5 cp:sp of S 5:7 CP=3+5=8 SP = 5+7 =12 12 IS 50% MORE TAN 8 ANS 3:5

h:s = 1:1
let,
CP = Rs (3x+5x) = Rs 8x
SP = Rs (5x+7x) = Rs 12x
Profit = Rs 4x = 50% of CP
Therefore h:s = 1:1

let cp=x & sp=y
so cp of h & s are 3x & 5x respectvly.

and sp of h & s are 5y & 7y rsptvly

total profit = (5y-3x) + (7y - 5x)

%profit=50% (given)

(5y-3x + 7y-5x)/8x = 50/100 //8x is total cp

after solving x:y=1:1

If for phones of Huawei & Sios CP are 3x,5x & SP are 5x,7x respectively, then
Total CP=3x*h+5x*s & SP=5x*h+7x*s
Given,SP-CP=(50/100)CP
5x*h+7x*s-(3x*h+5x*s)=(50/100)(3x*h+5x*s)
2(2x*h+2x*s)=3x*h+5x*s
x*h=x*s, h/s=1

3xh+5xs*0.5= 5xh+7xs
Bcoz 1/2 of the cost price cant b equal to s.p.plz explain

Since total profit is 50%
Total CP of 2 phones is 3xh+5xs
50% of CP = Total SP of 2 phones
50/100(3xh+5xs) = 5yh+7ys
So 0.5*(3xh+5xs) = 5yh+7ys

So Selling price ll be 150% of CP
SP = 150/100*CP = 1.5*CP
