Let HCF be x
Then the 2 nos. ll be 2x nd 5x
Then Prod. of 2 nos. = LCM*HCF
2x * 5x = 140x
10x = 140
x = 14
2 nos. ll be 2*14 nd 5*14 => 28, 70

Ans : 28, 70

ANSWER IS WRITE BUT EXPLANATION IS WRONG BCZ 2X*5X =10X^2 NOT 10X

LCM.=140
let HCF be x
Then the 2 nos. all be 2x & 5x
Then product of 2nos. = LCM * HCF
2x*5x= 140
10x =14x
x= 14
2nos. llbe 2*14 &/5*14= > 28,70

if l.c.m of two number and their ratio is given then,
Ratio be x:y then Number=( lcm / y , lcm / x)
i.e 140/5=28 & 140/2=70
number=(28,70)

since, LCM= 140
let the HCF be x
then , the first number= 2x
second number =5x
now the product of two numbers is 2x*5x
therfore, 2x*5x=140
x=14
numbers are= 28, 70
