ans:51
a monkey climbs 5 meters in one min & slips 2m in other min.
therefore the monkey reach 3meters in 2min
3m=2min
25*3m=25*2min - >75m=50min
hence the remaining 5m jumps the monkey in 1min to reach original height
so 51 min is ans

Monkey climbs 5m in 1 min and slip 2m in next min
So,in 2 min monkey climes=5-2=3m
in 50 min monkey climbs 75m
in next min he climbs 5m..
so,in 51 min he climbs 80 m

Ans 53 mins.
monkey covers metres in 2mins
now nearest even multiple of 3 near 80 is 78
so 3m in -------------> 2mins
3*26 --------------> 52 mins
78 m ---------------> 52 mins
now when it makes next jump of 5m it reaches the top in 1 extra min that is 53 mins

Hence for 75 mts it takes 50 minutes
for next 5mts it takes one minute more
so total 51 minutes

for every two minutes monkey climb 3 metres so to reach 80 metres it may take 54 minutes.
