A:B=100:80 AND B:C=100:75
A:C=(A/B)*(B/C)=100/60

B:C=100:75
so
we want A:C then
B must be in 80.

100 ---> 80
75 ----> x
x=60

so B:C will be 80:60

then A:C is 100:60 means A beat C by 40m.

b/c=100/(100-25)=4/3
a/b=100/(100-20)=5/4
a/c=(a/b)*(b/c)=5/3=100/60
so a beat c by (100-60)=40m

100m B = 75m C
100m A = 80m B
now 80m B = (75*80)/100 = 60m C
hence 100m A = 60m C
therefore A beats C by 100-60 = 40 m

i.e., a:b:c=20:16:12
so in 20mts race if a runs 20 mt then c runs by 12
then in 100 mt 100:80:60
so ans is 40

then for 100m->?
it is 40m

so,x+x+25+x+25+20=100
3x+70=100
x=10m
so A travels 55 m and C travels 10m
so a beats c by 45 m

100-64 = 36 meters
