Faulty spring balance reads 0.9 kg for a kg" means that she sells 1 kg for the price of 0.9 kgs, so she looses 10% of the price because of the faulty spring balance. She looses another 10% because of the discount.
So, she actually sells 1 kg for $3×0.9×0.9=$2.43 and since at that price she made neither a profit nor a loss, then Eesha purchase the wheat from the wholesaler for $2.43.

due to faulty balance->
1kg becomes 0.9kg
10kg becomes 9kg
sp of 9kg=3*9=$27
but in actual sp of 10kg = $27
=> sp of 1kg = $2.7
for 10 per discount ->>
sp 1kg becomes 2.7*90/100= $2.47
for no profit, no loss-> sp=cp= $2.47

1 kg of Wheat=3
0.9 kg of wheat=3*0.9=2.7

Now she gives 10% discount per kg(Here 1kg is 0.9)
So,10/100*2.7=0.27
Finally,SP-Discount=CP
CP=2.7-0.27=$2.47

esha sells 0.9 kg in 3rs
1 kg in =3/0.9 rs
now she gives 10% discount so price per kg=3/0.9*0.9=3
as no profit no loss so she purchases it for=buy price=sell price=3

so,
1/0.9 kg is shown as 1kg
1/0.9 kg is sells as 1kg
actual selling price of 1/0.9kg is $3
due to 10% discound seling price of 1/0.9 kg is $2.7
so,
1/0.9 kg = $2.7
llly, 1kg = $ (2.7*0.9)/1 = $ 2.43
so,
actual selling price is $2.43
