two identical circles are intersects at center, and form a square so radious =1 cm.
area of arc ay 90*= (90/360)pi**1*1=pi/4
and area of triangle=1/2*1*1
so area of common part= 2*[(pi/4)-1/2]= pi/2-1 ans....

Area of sector -Area of Square
assume area of one sector as a semi-cirlce for which diagonal of a square is the diameter diagonal= sqrt(2)
half of the diagonal=1/root2= radius of semicirlce
area of semicirlcle= 1/2(pi*1/root2*1/root2);
for another sector also same so, total area of sector=pi/2;
and
area of square=1*1=1
so,ans is pi/2-1;
