the following has 6 permutations.
(1, 3, 6),(1, 4, 5),(2, 3, 5)
Each of the following has 3 permutations.
(2, 2, 6),(2, 4, 4),(3, 3, 4)

the total possibility = 6*3 + 3*3 = 27
total no. of outcomes = 6*6*6 = 216
probability = 27/216 = 1/8 = 0.125

(1,4,5) 3!=6 (2,4,4)=3

and for sum 10 is 21
so 21/216

total possibilities are=
136=3!
235=3!
343=3!/2
442=3!/2
541=3!
622=3!/2
total = 27
total sample we have 6*6*6
p(E)=27/(6*6*6)=1/8
so 1/8 is the answer

there are 6 different combinations where 3 die can add up to 10:

Each of the following has 6 permutations.

1, 3, 6
1, 4, 5
2, 3, 5

Each of the following has 3 permutations.

2, 2, 6
2, 4, 4
3, 3, 4

We now have 6⋅3+3⋅3=27

The total number of combinations of three die rolls comes out to 63. Therefore, the probability you're looking for is:

27/216=18=0.125
