Why are you people just going through the last statement? There is also an option "Data inconsistent"?? If its 23 then the last statement holds true.But what about the other information which are preceding the last statement? The answer should have to be (4) Data Inconsistent.

The main questions in Last line ,.... if it leaves a remainder of 7 when divided by 8 so there is two numbers 39 and 23 39/8=7 and 23/8 = 7
