This is a grid problem, apply all the conditions given and then you will be able to find the locker of all the persons mentioned in the question including Mathurs.
Box number 9 belongs to Mr.Mathurs.
1 ->smith 2->davis 3-> wilson 4-> Booth
5->Green 6->Gray 7-> Black 8->Jones
9-> Mathur 10->Herd 11-> Miller 12-> White

according to da given datas ( 3 rows & a columns ) are filled except no.6 & no.10

sequence generated izz
SMITH ---> DAVIS ---> WILSON ---> BOOTH
GREEN ---> ---> BLACK ---> JONES
GRAY ---> ---> HERD ---> MILLER

hence box belonging to mr.MATHUR will be either 6 or 10
