A person has to cover a distance of 6 km in 45 minutes.
C. 12

If he covers one-half of the distance ( 3 kms ) in two-thirds of the total time ( 30 mins);
Balance 3 kms are to be covered in 15 mins.

so speed in km. per hr will be 60*3/15 = 12 kmph

ANS:12km/hr
he covers half of the distance i.e (3km)in 2/3rd of time i.e 30 min ,so speed to cover these half is 3/0.5 km/hr=6km/hr
we know speed is inversly propositional to time
t2=45-30=15min=0.25hr
so s1t1=s2t1
6*0.5=s2*0.25 = 12km/hr

To cover a distance of 6km he take 45 min
To cover a distance of one half means 3km he take 2/3 Rd means 30min of the total time so to cover a remaining distance in the remaining time it's speed is 15

answer option is c.
because total distance is 6 km and time is 45 minutes
he covers one half of the distance in 2/3rd of total time that means he is covers 3 km in 30 minutes
remaining distance is 3 km and time is 15 minutes
by using s=d/t and converting minutes into hour 60*3/15=12 km/hr

The center square/cube will be painted on one face
The 4 cubes on 4 sides of this center cube are painted on 2 faces
The 4 cubes on the 4 corners of the center cube are painted on 3 faces

But we still have to look at the center slice of the cube.
Here we'll have a total of 4 center cubes with one face painted
And, 4 edge cubes painted on 2 faces

But this only adds to 26 cubes. The 27th cube is the very center of the Rubik's cube which is not painted at all.

So, in total, 6 cubes are painted on 1 face and 1 cube is not painted on any face.
