first you have to write like 3(tin)=2(pipe) now just expand

3t 3i 3n = 2p 2i 2p 2e compare last two digits on both sides so you can get ( 3n=2e)

we can get L.H.S=R.H.S in (3n=2e) , when ever n=2 and e=3
is it ok now
now we got n=2

verify answers we have only one option which will ends with 2

the question is what is tin value,
from question we get 3n =2e, possibility of (n,e)=(2,3) then 3i=12 which should be equal to 2p assuming p=1...then solving the above equation we get
t=9,p=1,n=2,e=3

Ans 1 : 3TIN = 2PIPE
TIN = 2PIPE/3
Hence TIN Need to be divisible by 3. Among the choice 942 is only divisible by 3.
Ans 2 : Max Value of TIN (3 DIGITS) which satisfies the condition I = 4 is 949 resolve 3TIN = 2PIPE

Explaination:
take each option and perform since the option is the final answer and u want to calculate tin so we need to go reverse and find the ans
if i take 940 , pipe + pipe = 940 , so divide by 2 and we get 470 , tin + tin + tin = 470 so divide by 3 isnt possible so this isnt the answer.
now take 942 , divide by 2 and then by 3 and its divisible and we get tin as 157 .

Simply we have to just multiply tin by 3÷2. And check whether 1st and 3rd are same or not. If it is same then it is the correct option.
