the answer is approximately 230 gallons and if u want exact then it comes 228.25

explanation is given below:
3 person together fill tank in 25 min hence, calculate the time of person C that in how much time he empty the tank so,

(1/A)+(1/B)-(1/C)=1/25

i.e, (1/30)+(1/35)-(1/C)=1/25 .......... we get,

1/C=23/1050,

while, its given the C can empty 5 gallon per min. therefore

(23/1050)=5

and capacity of tank will get if we solve above expression,
we get 228.25

B can fill the same tank in 35 minutes
A B C together fill the tank in 25 minutes


Equating we get,

1050/23*5 = 228.26 gallons

let total capacity =240
a=8 u/m
b=6 u/m
so in 25 min =25*14=350 u
c can empty=24*5=120 g
so tatal capacity=350-120=230 gallon

1/a+1/b+ (-1/c)=1/25
1/30+1/35-1/c=1/25

1/c=33/1050
so, according to the question
33/1050=5
thus capacity of the tank should be 159.01 approx.
