given 3/4x=60%y
3/4x=3/5y
after cancel 3
5x=4y
given x-y=20
x=20+y
sub x value
5(20+y)=4y
100+5y=4y
y=100
then sub y value in 5x=4y
5x=4(100)
5x=400
x=400/5
x=80
now we got x and y values
x=80 and y=100
the sum of x and y is x+y=180
the answer is (b) 180

LET X,Y ARE NUMBERS
3x/4 = 60y/100 ; x/y = 4/5 - 1 equ
x-y = 20 - 2 equ divide 2 equ by y
x/y - 1 = 20/y ; y = 100 x = 80 add both 180

3/4*x=3/5*y
5x=4y
x-y=20
x=20+y
100+4y=5y
y=100
5x=400
x=80
sum of x qnd y is 180
